Learn how to take care of your body and mind through the menopause
In your 40’s?
Brain fog?
Poor sleep?
Stress?
If you have these or any of the hundreds(!) of peri-menopause symptoms, come along on and find out how we can help you.
Learn how to take care of your body and mind through the menopause. I am doing a talk with the wonderful Hannah Hatherell – hypnotherapist, friend and local fellow dog walker.
We would love for you to come and join us for one evening all about the perimenopause. Find out a little more how nutrition and hypnotherapy can help you, right now. It’s a combination of a safe space to chat with other women in a similar situation to you, learning some tools to help you straight away and advice for the long road ahead.
October maybe menopause awareness month, but as I think you’ve all realised by now, the menopause is for years, not days, weeks or months.
Learn how to take care of your body and mind for every day of the year.
Yes please, I’d love some help – book my space!
You can also find more information on balancing your hormones here on my website – hormone harnessing.

Sharing the importance of nutrition – my Talks
If you would like me to share my knowledge and passion of nutrition with your community, school or work, I would be delighted!
I can tailor my talks to suit – energised afternoons for enhanced learning (or working!), peri-menopause, calmer gut health, and improved mental wellbeing are just a few topics.
The importance of food and drink as well as other ‘life medicines’ on our energy and wellbeing is now well-known, but not necessarily understood.

Trust Your Gut. How what you eat affects how you feel
“Food is both your body’s fuel and information for your DNA, so it affects both your body and your life – for better or worse.”
The foods we eat directly affect our brain, which in turn affects our mental health. Mental health is integrated to physical health, not separate from it. Millions of nerves and neurons physically connect the gut and brain, creating a super highway of information. You already know they’re connected – think about when you have ‘gut feeling’ or ‘butterflies in your stomach’.
Good gut health is essential too – over 85% of people in the UK suffer from gut issues in a year. Whether this is from poor diet, stress, sleep or a virus, it will negatively impact absorbing the nutrients, your immune system and your energy levels.
It is slowly becoming more accepted that what we eat really does matter. Hippocrates stated “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” over 2500 years ago. Now, one of the most mundane – but profound – influences on mental health and human behaviour emerging in recent scientific literature is food.”
Nutritional Therapy uses an integrative ‘functional medicine’ approach, co-ordinating diet, lifestyle and exercise elements to improve symptoms, working upwards from the root-cause of the issue.
Join me in Hungerford Hub on Tuesday 5 July 7:30-9pm to discover more about this fascinating subject.
You can book tickets via EventBrite.
